Reading Geek Night 13

This post covers my presentation with Sam Delaney at Reading Geek night 13. We co-presented a live coding demonstration to highlight the challenges, but also the relative ease, of integrating software and hardware. Sam created a WPF application that integrated with an Arduino running some code I wrote to read a light sensor.

Wonderful Wednesdays

This post is going live a day later than intended, owing to me being extremely busy lately with a great many projects. However, this is as late as I dare leave it, lest @carocat set #soulcat on me! 'So, what's this post all about then?' I hear you clamour. well, this post is a review of a social event in Reading that I'm rather fond of, the best news? You're invited!

It's alive... It's ALIVE!

This week I have been mostly engaged with building a website, well, more accurately I have been mostly pressing F5 on What's My DNS? to figure out why I couldn't see this website. However, as of yesterday, thanks largely to my excellent web-hosts (CS New Media), the DNS finally propagated, hence I am thrilled to announce the availability of www.inspiratech.eu!

Inspiratech is a rolling stone...

This, admittedly rather thrown together blog post, updates you of Inspiratech's progress on the Imagine Cup to date. I also get rather excited by The University of Readings shiney new E-Mail and collaborative space solution.

Inspiratech imagines a world where...

This year I have decided to try my hands at the Imagine Cup, the international challenge set by Microsoft to make the world a better place using technology. This blog post is likely to be the first of many, all focusing on the progress of Inspiratech: A team comprising of Ian Field, Daniel Parker and myself. I have no metric for this competition, having never attempted it before, but I know these things to be facts: I'm competing alongside great people, I'm passionate about development and I'll be giving it my all!
